Hey There
My name is Andrew John Bertalli. I was born and raised in Rochester NY and relocated about 60 miles West to Buffalo NY where I currently reside today!
Moving initially in 2016 to earn my BFA in Graphic Design at the University of Buffalo. What kept me in this area when I graduated in 2019 is the charm of Elmwood Village.
An average day for me looks like a walk around Olmstead’s beautifully designed Delaware Park, a loop around the AKG Museum and a stop inside Spot coffee.
This all leads me into my favorite part of the day, where I get to sit down at my kitchen table and edit all the beautiful weddings I am blessed enough to film.
Inspired by the beautiful nature, art and people I’ve met along my travels, that day and beyond, I intend to tell your love story the best way I know how, through love and light.
Why I love Wedding Videography
I come from a family where Sundays are meant for family dinner, holidays are spent around a crowded table and every birthday is celebrated.
No matter how repetitive or insignificant some of these moments seemed, my mother always made sure they were cemented in time on camera.
When I was a child, I remember my dad behind a big clunky VHS camcorder. At 8 years old we were all fascinated by the low megapixel digital zoom cameras and on my 16th birthday when I was gifted a Nikon DSLR camera, we were all blown away.
With all the changes in technology, what stayed sacred was ensuring the happiness we shared could live on.
Realizing that I could do for other families, what I’ve learned through mine, is where my passion for wedding videography began.
Throughout the years I’ve covered a wide variety of events with my trusty camera by my side. Whether it be senior portraits, engagement parties, family portraits, Christmas card sessions, fundraisers etc.. but what always sparked my interest was weddings.
Something about the mixing pot of generations and friends of different backgrounds all coming together to celebrate the love of two people made my job feel incredibly important.
What makes it all the more worth while is doing it all on video. While photos are equally important, the moving picture can capture a person’s emotions and soul like no other.
